3 Pests That Are Worth a Call to a Rodent Exterminator

Here are just a few examples of pests worthy of a call to a rodent exterminator company:

1. Mice: Mice can leave small droppings all throughout a house very quickly and can potentially spread disease through their feces.  Because they are so small, mice can go unnoticed and end up leaving droppings where food is stored.  Pest control professionals know where to look for signs of them when performing an inspection.
2. Rats: We’re all well aware of how diseases transmitted from rats were once so dangerous that they were the cause of epidemics such as the Bubonic plague. Fortunately, modern medicine has managed to virtually eliminate some of the diseases transmitted through rats (and their fleas), but there are many bacteria they spread that are still extremely dangerous.  Their nests can be large, often requiring that they make more room in dark spaces by chewing through wood. If large enough, a nest could actually compromise the structural integrity of a home if not eradicated by rodent exterminator.
3. Cockroaches: Cockroaches pose similar dangers to rodents that are worth mentioning. These creatures are renowned for their ability to survive harsh conditions.  These pests can survive one month without food and are actually able to live a week without a head.  Similar to rodents, they often carry bacteria that can easily cause illness in people and pets. Both rodents and cockroaches can potentially cause people to develop allergies.
